Before shipment, QT MAT carefully cleans each product to remove dust generated during the manufacturing process.
In training facilities, sweat and bacteria can remain on the mat surface after use. Storing the mat without cleaning may shorten its lifespan and create hygiene risks.
Recommended actions:
Keep the rolling direction consistent and avoid rolling the mat too quickly. Rolling too tight or too loose can both affect future performance:
Tip: Roll the mat slowly with moderate tightness to ensure stability without compromising rebound performance.
After rolling, secure the mat with tape or elastic straps to prevent loosening or deformation during storage.
The mat can be stored upright or laid flat. Stacking is not recommended, as excessive weight may cause the foam core to lose elasticity over time.
Regular adjustment: For long-term storage, it is recommended to change the rolling direction or reposition the mat every 1–2 weeks. Mats that remain rolled for extended periods may develop curled edges when laid flat again. Periodically unrolling and re-rolling helps maintain elasticity and allows the mat to flatten more quickly when needed.
Logo facing inward: If the mat features a custom logo or printed design, roll it with the logo side inward to prevent creasing or surface damage.
Proper cleaning, consistent rolling direction, appropriate tightness, and secure storage methods are essential to extending the lifespan of roll out mats.
With proper care, your mats will remain flat, elastic, and continue to provide a safe, comfortable, and professional training environment for years to come.
